This model not only shortens the planting cycle of Morchella from the traditional 120-180 days to 80-100 days, but also breaks the seasonal restrictions, achieving uninterrupted production all year round, so that the market can have fresh Morchella supply all year round. Moreover, the yield and quality of Morchella have also been greatly improved. It is understood that the base has currently built 15 factory-based greenhouses for morels, with an annual output of up to 3,000 kilograms per greenhouse and an output value of up to 600,000 yuan. In addition, the base has 22 ordinary winter greenhouses for morels, with an annual output value of about 100,000 yuan per greenhouse.
In order to further expand the scale of morel production and enhance the competitiveness of the industry, this year, the Huchuan Town Morel Base started the third phase of construction, planning to build 26 new factory-based morel production sheds and continue to introduce advanced production equipment and technology. After completion, it will not only further expand the scale of morel cultivation and increase production, but will also attract more talents and funds to invest in the morel industry, and promote the industry to a deeper level.
